Sam Lutfi wants a video that freelance reporter Eric Mitchell has of Britney Spears' father Jamie swearing at him to use at the upcoming defamation trial that the former manager filed against the Toxic singer and her parents, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
"Sam Lutfi's attorney Joe Schleimer called me on Sunday morning and wants me to take the witness stand about a video I shot of Jamie Spears four years ago when Jamie cursed me out. This was around the time that Britney was having her very public meltdowns, and I don't blame him at all for cursing at me as he was going through so much at the time. I'm not inclined to turn over the video, nor voluntarily appear. If Sam wants me to testify, he will have to formally subpoena me," Mitchell tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
As we previously reported Lutfi is suing the singer and her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears for defamation and breach of contract. Lynne wrote a book, Through The Storm, that discussed Lutfi's role in Britney's life leading up to her very public meltdown, which resulted in Jamie gaining conservatorship of his daughter in 2008.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin on October 1, and the trial is expected to last two weeks. The judge handling Brit's conservatorship has ruled that she can't testify at the trial because she isn't competent enough to do so.
Meanwhile, Mitchell says: "I'm 100% Team Britney and wish her all the best."
