Kim Kardashian is changing up her look for the new season!

Fresh from her Hawaiian getaway with Kanye West, the 31-year-old reality bombshell paid a visit to the Andy Lecompte Salon in West Hollywood on Friday, where Joico’s celebrity stylist George Papinoklas lightened up her dark brown locks and RadarOnline.com has the details about her new ‘do.

"Kim wanted a change for Fall, so she went chocolate brown. She thought it was the perfect way to warm up the upcoming season,” Papinoklas exclusively dished to RadarOnline.com.

The celebrity colorist used Joico’s Base Breaker and balayage highlights to soften up her color and to add rich chocolate pieces around her face and ends of hair.

“The result is a low maintenance graduation of color from Deep Dark Chocolate to Luscious Milk Chocolate ends,” Papinoklas continued. “The tone on tone hue is the most sophisticated choice for brunettes, and it's important to protect the hair color to keep it rich and luxurious.”

The next day, Kim showed off her new hair at her pal and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli’s Alice in Wonderland themed baby shower.

Was Kanye behind Kim’s inspiration to lighten up her look? On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the hip-hop star cleaned out Kim’s wardrobe with his stylist and “inspired” her to “be a little more of an individual.”
