In wake of the horrific mass shooting at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado, Warner Bros. has canceled all interviews with the cast, as well as Friday’s scheduled red carpet premiere in Paris.
The film’s cast -- including Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy -- flew to France for the premiere, which was to be held on the Champs-Elysees Friday night.
Earlier this week, The Dark Knight Rises held premieres in London and New York.
The studio behind the film released this statement early Friday: "Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time."
