Katie Holmes has looked very happy ever since she filed for divorce from her A-list husband, but in these new pictures obtained by RadarOnline.com, the Dawson's Creek star appeared somewhat stoic as she picked up some milk Friday at the neighborhood  grocery store -- again without her wedding ring.

Katie, 33, filed the papers to end her 5-year marriage to Tom, 50, on June 28, and ever since then she's been looking happy whenever she is spotted out.

Wearing a coral shirt, skinny jeans and boots, Katie appeared to be hiding her emotions as she carried her reusable grocery bag after shopping at a Whole Foods grocery store in Manhattan near her new apartment that she and her six-year-old daughter Suri Cruise have moved into.

On Thursday, Katie took Suri and the little girl was clutched in her mother's arms with a rather sad look on her face.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Katie will face off with Tom in court on July 17 to begin the custody negotiations over their daughter Suri.
