Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise are OK Tuesday, RadarOnline.com has learned, after the Mercedes they were passengers in was sideswiped by a garbage truck in New York City Monday night.
Police said no injuries were reported in the incident, which took place between Seventh and Eighth Aves. on W. 33rd St. at about 9:30 pm ET.
“It was nothing major other than the fact that it was Katie Holmes,” a source told the NY Daily News.
The tight-knit mother and daughter had just left Manhattan's Chelsea Piers, where Suri practices gymnastics.
Katie was stylishly dressed in a $90 Hoss Intropia ivory lace blouse.
The incident comes less than three weeks after Katie filed papers to end her five-year marriage to Suri's dad, Tom Cruise.
In an agreement they hammered out, the Rock of Ages star, 50, granted Katie, 33, sole custody of Suri, 6.
