She’s one of the heirs to her father's billions, so does socialite Petra Ecclestone really shop at the 99 Cent Store?
Sadly the English born socialite isn’t that down-to-earth and was actually walking the aisles of the budget shop in a ball gown pulling a suitcase behind her as part of a photo shoot for charity.
Dressed in a dramatic floor-sweeping red dress, a sparkling tiara and full length silk gloves, 23-year-old Petra has joined a slew of other British stars for the Give Up Clothes for Good campaign, in which Cancer Research UK and discount store TK Maxx have joined forces to encourage people to clear out their closets and donate them for a good cause.
While the newlywed can no doubt afford to part with some of her expansive wardrobe, she doesn’t have to worry about a lack of closet space in her 56,000 square foot Holmby Hills, Calif. mansion.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the daughter of billionaire Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, bought the huge home from Candy Spelling for a whopping $85 million last year.
“I know that the house is huge and yes, it really is quite overwhelming,” she told W magazine. “But with the other houses we looked at that were a similar size to this, you felt like you were in a museum.”
