Petra's Moving In! Ecclestone Gives Her $85 Million Dollar Mansion A Makeover

Now that she is a married woman, Petra Ecclestone is planning to spend her time and money extensively remodeling the $85 million Holmby Hills mansion that she recently bought from Candy Spelling.
The newly-wed, who tied the knot to James Stint in a $6.5 million extravaganza on Saturday, has very different interior design tastes to Tori Spelling's mom and wants a whole new look for the mega-mansion, RadarOnline.com has learned.
And the renovations have begun - with dumpsters and rubble spotted outside the home on Monday.
Petra, 22, who is the stunning blonde bombshell daughter of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, purchased what is one of the most expensive houses in Los Angeles for a bargain price of $85 million last June, despite it being on the market for a whopping $150 million.
Once the renovations are completed, Ecclestone and her new husband will reportedly split their time between Los Angeles and London, where she owns a $90.9 million, six-story house in Chelsea.
The 57,000-sq. foot California palace will provide plenty of room for the mountain of wedding gifts that Petra was given during her opulent nuptials in Rome, Italy last weekend.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the billionaire heiress' wedding outshone even Kim Kardashian's little shindig in Montecito a week earlier, with opera superstar Andrea Bocelli serenading the guests before the sunset ceremony, rock icon Eric Clapton playing the newlywed's first dance and The Black Eyed Peas as the dance band!
No expense was spared for the magical event at a castle in the Italian town of Bracciano -- the same one where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wed in 2006 -- with guests sipping on $6,000 a bottle wine and Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne while watching acrobats and fireworks.
Paris, Nicky and Kathy Hilton, David Arquette, and the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie were among the 250 VIP guests, and her sister, Tamara, was Petra's maid of honor.
The beautiful Croatian-English bride's custom-made Vera Wang dress reportedly cost in the region of $120,000.
