Megan Fox plays second banana to no one.

The 25-year-old stunner, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, drops more details about having her Marilyn Monroe tattoo taken off, as well as her first job, which was far removed from show business -- more like monkey business, actually!

You see, Megan’s first gig was at a smoothie shop in Florida, where once a week, she’d have to don a face-less life-size banana costume and stand by the side of the highway to attract customers.

Knowing this, prankster Ellen sprang a huge surprise on Megan ... a life-size banana that greeted her during her segment!

“We usually warn people ahead of time!” Ellen joked.

Also on Thursday, Ellen goes into more detail with Fox about the process of having her famous tattoo of Marilyn on her right forearm getting taken off.

“You are having a tattoo removed,” Ellen said. “Which is the most painful thing? It’s more painful then getting a tattoo from what I’ve heard.”

Fox said the removal process was more painful “by far.”

“How long will it take to completely remove the Marilyn Monroe tattoo?” Ellen asked Fox, who said she’s only just begun with the excruciating process.

The Jennifer’s Body star said, “I’ve only done one session on it but it is incredibly painful. Where ever the ink is the laser hits it and it sort of pops up like little piece of popcorn and explodes your skin.
