Camille Grammer decided to quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because Bravo executives didn't want her to be a part of the main cast anymore, and she would have been relegated to guest appearances on the reality show, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Listen! 'RHOP' star Wendy Osefo breaks down the “most intense fight in the show's history” in under 2 minutes.
As previously reported, Kelsey Grammer's ex-wife announced over the weekend she wouldn't be appearing on the upcoming season of the hit Bravo franchise.
"Camille was miffed that she was only being asked to come back as an occasional guest, and not part of the regular cast," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. "Camille feels like producers are retaliating against her because in season one she was portrayed as the villain, but during season two, as her life calmed down because most of her divorce drama was finished, she was in a much better place, and very happy. Camille doesn't need to be on the show and she turned down the offer. She thanked the producers for putting her on the show and she is moving on with her life."
Camille shot down rumors she was fired from the show, and told E! News, "I was not fired. I didn't want to expose my personal life so much anymore. I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my family and children and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now."
Meanwhile, Kelsey Grammer and Camille have reached a custody agreement over their two children, and she has been dating Greek hunk, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, for almost a year.
"Camille doesn't regret doing the show, but it definitely took its toll on her. She is happy to have her life back, and not be under that microscope anymore. Camille is very busy with her two children and her boyfriend, and she wants to produce a television series. She is going to be just fine," a pal says.
