Oprah Winfrey has scored the first interview with Whitney Houston’s beloved daughter and family -- and RadarOnline.com has a clip of the exclusive interview.
19-year-old Bobbi Kristina, the only child of the late singer and her ex-husband, Bobby Brown, sat down with the talk show host, who has been a friend of the family for a long time, to “share personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.”
“The world lost an icon, they lost a mother and a sister,” Oprah says in the promotional trailer.
Whitney Houston tragically passed away on February 11 at the Beverly Hilton, and following her death a distraught Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital twice within 12 hours.
“Does it feel real yet that she’s gone?” Oprah asks Whitney’s brother Gary Houston and his wife Patricia, who says she was Whitney’s closest confident.
“As a big brother how did you feel about Bobby Brown?” Oprah asks Gary.
At one point Oprah warmly embraces Bobbi Kristina and the young woman is seen smiling broadly as Oprah describes her as “The love of Whitney’s life.”
Whitney infamously opened up to Oprah in 2009, saying that Bobby Brown was her “drug,” and she “didn’t do anything without him.”
Oprah’s Next Chapter with Bobbi Kristina will air on Sunday night, March 11 at 9/8c on OWN.
