As Demi Moore continues to get treatment for her substance abuse problems, her oldest daughter Rumer Willis has broken her silence about her mother’s struggles.
“My mother is on the road to recovery,” the 23-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi told German news outlet tz-online.com.
Rumer was in Munich over the weekend for a Thomas Sabo jewelry event.
“Of course the situation weighs heavily on me,” Rumer said about her mother, who was rushed to the hospital on January 23, after “smoking something” and having convulsions.
Demi was released days later and checked into the rehab center Cirque Lodge in Utah.
“It’s slow going but we believe in her,” Rumer said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Demi is seeking help for her addiction to prescription medications and her eating disorder issues.
