After the kidnapping horror of her childhood, Elizabeth Smart got her own real-life Hollywood happy ending on Saturday when she wed her knight in shining armor, and RadarOnline.com has a photo of the newlyweds - and her sparkling wedding ring!
The cute couple looked like they are taking to married life like ducks to water when they stepped out hand-in-hand on Sunday as they took a leisurely walk just one day after their romantic wedding ceremony in Hawai'i on idyllic Oahu’s north shore.
Elizabeth, 24, and husband Matthew Gilmour, 22, from Aberdeen, Scotland, proved that they are already sharing domestic duties as they both carried bags full of groceries from a local store, but even with her hands full of shopping, the classically designed ring can still be easily spotted on her left hand.
SHOCKING PHOTOS: Elizabeth Smart Evidence In Kidnapping Case
As RadarOnline.com previously reported Smart, now a college senior, and Gilmour, wed in front of a small group of family and close friends at the Laie Hawai'i Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the island of Oahu.
In a miraculous feat of fast-planning, Elizabeth pulled together the wedding arrangements just one month after she announced her engagement in January.
A senior at Brigham Young University, Elizabeth met her sexy Scot a year ago while doing missionary work in Paris, France. They had intended to wait before walking down the aisle but the massive media attention persuaded them to speed up their plans.
Smart made worldwide headlines in 2002, when at age 14, she was kidnapped from her family home. She was rescued from her captors, who'd subjected her to sexual assault almost daily, nine months later.
