Despite having a seizure, collapsing and being rushed to the hospital Demi Moore is in denial about her problems RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The 49-year-old actress has been struggling with anorexia and taking the prescription pills Adderall leading up to her seizure on January 23.
However, despite pressure from those around her to seek help for her problems, and the statement that her rep released saying she was doing so, Demi is pushing back at friends.
“Demi doesn’t think she has a problem,” a source close to actress told RadarOnline.com. “She is basically ignoring everything everyone around her is saying about how she needs help.”
“She is worried that her career isn’t on fire and with her marriage falling apart she hasn’t handled anything well lately,” the source said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Demi “smoked something” which may have been K2 Spice (a new designer drug which mimics marijuana) and was “having convulsions” before being taken to an ambulance to the hospital where she stayed for a few days, but even in there the source said she was ignoring what the medical professionals were saying.
“Demi was told in the hospital that she has to start eating, which she never does, she only takes Adderall and drinks Red Bull and she doesn’t see how unhealthy that is.”
As for her career, the Striptease star is “desperate to remain relevant,” the source said. “She’s just obsessed with being young and skinny and trying to keep working and she doesn’t realize how much she’s hurting herself.”
