In anticipation of her comeback appearance at Sunday’s Grammys, Adele -- sidelined since November after undergoing surgery on her vocal cords -- piped out a few lyrics of her mega-hit Rolling In The Deep during a chat with Anderson Cooper slated to air on 60 Minutes prior to the show.
Cooper said of the critically-acclaimed 23-year-old songbird: “I don’t think anyone who’s vaguely conscious doesn’t listen to Adele's songs ... I actually jog to Rolling In The Deep everyday.”
Already a two-time Grammy winner, the British soul singer is nominated for six Grammys this year, including album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year for her second album, 21.
Anderson’s profile of Adele airs Sunday on CBS at 7/6c; the Grammys then air at 8/7c on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
