Tis the season to be charitable – and chic at the same time!
Joining together her passion for fashion with her dedication to philanthropy, Scarlett Johansson has teamed up with leading lifestyle brand Neff and City of Hope to support the fight against cancer this holiday season with a hot new hat – and RadarOnline.com has the details.
The eco-friendly “Scarlett Beanie” launched exclusively on Zappos.com on December 1. Retailing for $25, the organic blend hat was designed exclusively by the Tony Award winning actress and is the perfect gift for anyone on your list this holiday season.
The gift that keeps on giving, for every Scarlett Beanie purchased, Neff will donate on beanie to a City of Hope patient/survivor (up to 5,000 beanies) and thereafter, 10 percent from the sale of each hat will be donated to City of Hope (up to $20,000).
“Conscious consumerism is definitely something I believe in, and Neff’s platform for giving back seemed like a perfect fit,” the actress said in a statement. “I helped create this Neff Beanie with the hope that every purchase might make a cancer patient feel a bit more comfortable during his/her treatments and look cool and be cozy all the while. The beanies are eco friendly too, so they're as nice to the earth as they are to the person wearing them.”
