Rosie O’Donnell To David Letterman: 'I Don't Remember Making Fun Of You When You Had Sex With All Your Interns!'
Dec. 9 2011, Published 6:00 a.m. ET
As Donald Trump can attest to, Rosie O’Donnell is a fierce foe, and the comic proves she's as sharp-tongued as ever on her new talk show Friday, responding to David Letterman's not-so-nice comments about her recent whirlwind engagement to 40-year-old businesswoman Michelle Rounds.
In his monologue on Tuesday's edition of The Late Show, Letterman said of Rosie's new-found love: “The woman she is marrying, her fiancée, was driving … and her car broke down. And guess what happened? Rosie pulls up right behind her in her tow truck.”
As payback, Rosie, on her show Friday, asks Letterman why he chose to take the cheap shot.
"Why is that Dave?" Rosie asks. "Why? I don't remember making fun of you when you had sex with all your interns! I didn't make fun of your rampant, throbbing heterosexuality, did I Dave?"
Rosie, 49, says that while Letterman's bookers are always trying to get her to appear on his show, she won't go. Then, in a Dave-esque turn, she gives the Top 5 list of reasons she would not appear on The Late Show.

Among them: “Dave, when you had that heart surgery, you shouldn't have told the doctors to take out the whole thing," and “Not only do you appear to be anti-gay, you’re anti-tow truck driver!"
