Tone Loc Pleads No Contest To Battery Charge

Rapper Tone Loc formally pled no contest in a Burbank courtroom Monday morning to a battery and firearms charge, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
The Funky Cold Medina singer was arrested on June 18, 2011 for getting into an altercation with the mother of one of his children.
The singer entered the plea to possession of an assault weapon, that wasn't used in the domestic assault, and corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant or child's parent.
Judge Patrick Hegarty sentenced the 45-year-old entertainer to one day in county jail, three years of formal probation, and 52 weeks of anger management counseling.
The Burbank Police Department determined that the assault rifle was unregistered.
