Demi Lovato’s ailing father has a heartbreaking message for his estranged daughter: please call me.
Patrick Lovato exclusively told RadarOnline.com that he has been desperately trying to reach his 19-year-old Disney star daughter, but so far to no avail.
“I love her so much, and I just want her to call me,” Patrick said. “This is the only way I can talk to her, I try to reach her but it never works.”
Patrick lives in New Mexico and is divorced from Demi’s mother Dianna and through his tears he said that he misses his daughter.
“It is not like I want anything from her, all I want is her love,” he said.
It has been a year since Demi had a meltdown on a plane with the Jonas Brothers and attacked a dancer, spurring her to check into a treatment center; and Patrick said that was the last opportunity he got to speak with his daughter.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Patrick said Demi called him last November, during her second week of treatment, and they spoke about his cancer.
“She told me she loved me, she really loves her daddy,” he said. “She told me she’s getting better.”
Patrick said he hopes for a reconciliation with Demi, her older sister Dallas and their mom. “All I’ve got here is my dog Daytona but I’ve offered to let Demi come and stay here any time she wants.

“My health isn’t what it used to be and I know my daughter loves her daddy, so please call me Demi,” he pleaded.
Demi’s struggle with her weight, bullying and bipolar disorder have put her in the news for the last years and she has become a shining role model for young people across the nation, which her father said he truly admires.
“I’m so proud that she’s doing what she did, I knew the day she was born that she was special to me, but I didn’t know she would be so special to so many people.”
Patrick said he hopes his plea will be answered and that his daughter Demi and Dallas might reach out to him.
“I don’t think I can go much longer without hearing from my two daughters,” the heartbroken father said.
