Maria Shriver Beats The Heat In Malibu

Life's not always a beach for former California First Lady Maria Shriver -- but at least it was for a while this weekend.
Shriver, 55, warded off a scorching hot Southern California afternoon by taking a trip to the beach in Malibu with pals on Sunday.
The Chicago-born Kennedy family member wore a white beach tunic with gold patterns as she talked to her female pal, and doted on the woman’s adorable young daughter.
Last month on the same beach, Maria suffered a scare every parent fears, when her youngest son Christopher suffered multiple injuries following a boogie boarding accident. Thankfully, he’s recovered nicely since.
