This has been a tough year for Kat Von D. Her house burned down, killing her beloved pet cat, her engagement to Jesse James was called off and now RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her reality show LA Ink has been canceled.
"TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last. The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles,” TLC said in an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com.
The fourth season was bittersweet for the self-made tattoo mogul, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, showcasing her relationship with bad boy Jesse James and their wedding plans. When their engagement was called off Kat struggled with the publicity, storming off the set of Good Day LA after their intro of her impending interview only focused on her breakup.
“What can I say? I suck,” Kat wrote to her fans on Facebook, defending her relationship with James and her handling of the show.
Kat tweeted a cryptic message Wednesday night from Vegas, in a response to a fan saying her show was annoying because it focused too much on her personal life. “perhaps a better way to say it is "the show is more annoying".... Trust me, wish it could be about art only.”
In the season premiere of the show the 29-year-old reality got a tattoo of her then-fiancé Jesse James’ face, and has said she has “no regrets” even though they’re now broken-up.
LA Ink airs Thursdays at 10/9 c on TLC and the season finale will air on September 15.
