Kat Von D Was Designing Wedding Dress Before Jesse James Broke Off Engagement

She would have been a beautiful bride.
In a bittersweet scene of LA Ink Kat Von D asks her friends who design her clothing line to create her a one-of-a-kind wedding dress.
In a sneak peek of the upcoming episode obtained by RadarOnline.com Kat explains to her friends that she and Jesse James want their wedding to be "really special."
"When I got married to my first husband we just eloped, I got married in my jeans," Kat said. So for this wedding she wants to go all out. "I don't want to have a dress that anyone else could have."
To her surprise her friends hesitate to say yes to the dress, and Kat is taken aback. "I thought you guys would be more excited," she says.
However, in the end the girls check out Kat's "wedding folder" to get an idea of the style that she wants. "Really organic and flowing and not structured at all," is how she describes her dream dress.
Kat announced her split with Jesse on July 25, but the brand new season of her show focuses on her romance with the bad boy pre-break-up.
LA Ink airs Thursday at 10/9c on TLC.
