Teen Mom star Amber Portwood took a break from her rehab facility for a day trip to West Los Angeles, Calif. and RadarOnline.com has the just-released photos.

Portwood, 21, entered a Malibu treatment center late last month but took a day to herself last weekend to visit a local Starbuck’s and play with some puppies that were up for adoption.

“I just wanted everyone to know that Amber is still doing well,” the MTV star’s brother, Shawn Portwood, wrote on a Facebook page he officiates for his sister.

“She has started Kick Boxing at her rehab to help keep her mind off of things.”

As RadarOnline.com was first to report Portwood’s baby daddy, Gary Shirley, currently has custody of their two-year-old daughter, Leah, but once Portwood is done with her rehab program she will maintain Child Protective Services supervised one-a-week visits with Leah.
