Jonah Shacknai, and his ex-wife, Dina Shacknai made the very painful and heartbreaking decision to donate their son, Max's organs following his tragic death, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The only son of the former couple fell down a flight of stairs at his father's vacation home on July 11, 2011 -- he died in hospital several days later.

"Jonah and Dina didn't want another family to go through the horrible loss they are dealing with, so they decided to donate Max's organs. They are absolutely devastated by Max's death. There simply are no words," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.
