Who knew Ralph Macchio has a black belt in ballroom dancing?

The Karate Kid star may not have gotten the highest score with his frantic jive on Monday's edition of ABC's  Dancing with the Stars (earning 21 points with pro partner Karina Smirnoff), but since no one was eliminated last week in the show's premiere, he's still the leader with a two-week grand total of 45 out of 60 possible points.

That two-week total score -- along with America's votes -- will detemine which celebrity ( and their pro partner) will be the first to go home when the first elimination show airs Tuesday night.

Another notable performance on Monday's show came from Loveline's Mike ("Psycho Mike") Catherwood, who improved to a 17-point showing up from last week's dismal 13-point performance, though he's the low man on the totem pole with just 30 out of 60 possible points.

Fan favorite Kirstie Alley's quickstep received 20 points for her dance with partner Maskim Chmerkovskiy on Monday, staying on Macchio's tail with 43 overall points the past two weeks.
