EXCLUSIVE CLIP: NJ Housewife Danielle Staubs' Emotional New Music Video
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub is showing off her pipes and her acting skills in her first music video for her new single Cry and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive first look.
In the video, Danielle- shown with a fake black eye in one scene- sings through the pain of deciding whether to leave her emotionally and physically abusive husband.
She sings, “Frozen here in silence, I just don’t understand how you came to show affection by the violence in your hands. Don’t tell me that you’re sorry. This all just has to end. I still wake up nights all shaken cause the pain’s gonna strike again. Baby, you are guilty of fooling yourself. I’m not about to take the blame for someone I can’t help. But in time you will be without me and you’ll see it took time but I realize…”
As first reported by RadarOnline.com, most of the video, which was written and produced by her “Real Close” duet partner Lori Michaels, was filmed on location at Strengthen Our Sisters Domestic Violence Shelter in New Jersey.
The company behind the video, Pick IT Up Pictures Productions, also produced the documentary "Not In My Backyard" which was filmed for seven years in underground shelters to show how voiceless victims in America live.
100 percent of the profits from the documentary and music video will go to saving domestic violence shelters and Danielle has been one of the biggest celebrity advocates speaking up about the epidemic. She has been going into Strengthen Our Sisters to help the women and children, the source said, adding that some of the proceeds from the digital sales of the song will also benefit domestic violence causes.
