The proud papa was already at work conditioning his little one to be daddy's little girl.

"If I watch football w/ my daughter now, she'll like the sounds of the NFL & want to watch it w/ me when she's older," Van Der Beek, 33, Tweeted.

Van Der Beek and Brook married this past August at a Kabbalah Center in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Van Der Beek joins his Dawson’s Creek co-stars Katie Holmes (daughter Suri with Tom Cruise) and Michelle Williams (daughter Matilda with the late Heath Ledger) as a high-profile Hollywood parent.
