Kesha’s former lawyer is demanding Dr. Luke undergo a psychological exam in the legal battle over allegations the music producer raped Lady Gaga, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Back in 2015, Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, slapped Kesha's attorney, Mark Geragos, with a lawsuit after the lawyer accused the music producer of raping another pop star, Lady Gaga, on his Twitter account.

As readers know, Lady Gaga appeared on The Howard Stern Show and revealed that someone in the music industry had raped her in the past. Hours later, Geragos went on Twitter and asked, "Guess who the rapist was?"

Another follower Tweeted the lawyer and wrote: “Lukasz,” to which Geragos responded "#bingo." The lawyer did not back down and even told media outlets he made the comment “because it’s true.”

Geragos - who was representing Kesha in her legal battle against Dr. Luke, accusing him of sexual assault - was then slapped with a defamation lawsuit from the music producer. The music producer claimed the allegations Geragos made on Twitter were "maliciously false."

Lady Gaga denied the claim and said it wasn't true.

Dr. Luke explained in court docs that he hadn't even met Lady Gaga at the time she claimed she was raped and also insisted he had never been alone with her anytime in the past.

Geragos tried to have the case dismissed on the grounds that the statements were privileged due to them being connected to pending litigation involving his client Kesha.

He even argued he had a moral and social duty to speak out about the allegations.

Recently, a New York judge came back with his decision and sided with the Dr. Luke, ordering the case will not be dismissed despite Geragos’ pleas and also said Dr. Luke provided enough evidence at the point to continue the lawsuit.

Last month, Geragos returned to court, finally filing his answer to the complaint and demanded the entire case be tossed. He denied all claims that he defamed Dr. Luke and argued he is protected by the First Amendment.

RadarOnline.com obtained exclusive court documents, dated June 9, 2017, showing that the preliminary conference order was filed in the legal battle. A hearing was held in the case earlier this month and both parties’ lawyers attended.

During the conference, Geragos informed the court he is reserving his rights to request Dr. Luke to undergo a psychological evaluation. He will also reserve his rights to obtain the producer’s medical records during discovery.

“Defendant reserve the right to request a psychological evaluation of plaintiff and to obtain medical records pending the completion of the bill of particulars. Plaintiff reserves his right to object to any such request,” the documents obtained by RadarOnline.com state.

A hearing has been set for next month where the issue will be discussed in court.
