Chelsea Houska is changing her last name when she ties the knot with Cole DeBoer – and she wants her daughter to as well! On this week's Teen Mom 2, Houska expressed how she doesn't want her daughter's last name to be Lind.
"After we're married and have kids, we're all obviously going to have the same last name," Houska, 24, told DeBoer. "It's just going to suck that Aubree… it's almost like something is separating us because we're going to have different last names. I want her to be a part of our family."
When her fiancé agreed that he doesn't want the 6-year-old to feel left out, Houska suggested hyphenating her last name to be Lind-DeBoer.
But when Houska brought up the idea to her lawyer, she explained how the change wouldn't be easy.
"She said we would have a better case if we waited until we started having kids," Houska said.
On last week's episode, Houska slammed her baby daddy Adam Lind when their daughter complained over how he doesn't play with her.
"Why not just go away," Houska told her mother. "He's only making things worse. You think him going in and out, and her going there and he sits on his phone and ignores her is better for her?"
Lind came under fire when his friend Bruce William Crawford, who has been around Aubree and his 2-year-old daughter Paislee on the show, was arrested and indicted on three felony counts of sexual exploitation, one misdemeanor count of distributing harmful materials, or pornography, to minors and two misdemeanor counts of obscene phone calls.
