‘Long Island Medium’ Theresa Caputo Files For Divorce From Husband Larry After 28 Years
Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo has officially pulled the plug on her 28-year marriage, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
According to Long Island, New York court records exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, the reality star filed for divorce on April 16, 2018.
The 52-year-old mother of two — who is worth a reported $3 million — has hired a high-powered New York attorney to represent her in the divorce proceedings.
It appears Larry has yet to attain legal counsel.
While Theresa claims to connect with the dead on her wildly popular TV show, Larry is retired from an imported food business.
She initially filed for separation on December 1, 2017, RadarOnline.com can exclusively confirm.
The longtime couple announced their separation in a joint statement later that month.
“We will always love each other and our two wonderful children,” they insisted.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com last month, Larry claimed the split was more complicated than that. In fact, he said the TLC reality show led to the demise of their marriage.
He said the series was “exciting and fun in the beginning, but then after the longevity you become more exposed, now it effects your private life.”
Larry’s father seemed to be in disbelief over the split in a previous interview with RadarOnline.com.
“They can be away from each other, and then on the days they’re not away, they can be together. What’s the problem?” Jack Caputo told RadarOnline.com. “ I’m sorry, I’m just shocked.”
