As the investigation into the near-drowning of Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, heats up, cops are desperate to talk to her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, about what really happened on that fateful day. But so far, RadarOnline.com has learned, he hasn’t sat down for a formal interview.

The Roswell Police Department is continuing a criminal investigation into the incident. Two weeks after she was found in the tub at her home, cops “very much want to talk to Nick Gordon for obvious reasons ,” an insider told Radar. "They want to know if the couple had argued in the time leading up to the incident. Building a timeline of Bobbi Kristina's movements and actions are very much part of the investigation. There are holes, and it would be helpful if Nick could try and fill those gaps."

"At this point, however, Nick hasn’t been interviewed, and is under no obligation to do so," a source said.

On Monday, Gordon, banned from visiting the woman he called his wife in the hospital, debuted a tattoo of her name on his arm.

The shot posted to Facebook on Sunday shows Gordon still in a tattoo parlor chair, proudly showing off his left forearm that’s freshly marked with the words “Bobbi Kristina.”

Brown’s self-proclaimed “husband” didn’t include a caption with the post-Valentine’s Day pic.

Gordon's attorney didn't immediately respond to request for comment, but previously said Nick's "only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina."
