Trapped In A Toxic Marriage! Jeremy Calvert’s Conservative Family Won’t Let Him Divorce Leah Messer: ‘The Split Has Been Postponed’

Jeremy Calvert may have mentally checked out of his marriage to Leah Messer — but RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the former Teen Mom 2 pair’s plans for a divorce are currently on hold.

Sources tell RadarOnline.com that Calvert’s conservative West Virginia-based family is preventing him from following through with divorce proceedings.

“Jeremy’s family is very old-fashioned and country,” a source explains to RadarOnline.com. “They are furious that he wants to end the marriage, and think he and Leah should stick it out despite the hard times.”

Though he’s legally stuck with Messer, Calvert is still moving on with other women. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the pipeline engineer, 25, made secret plans for an overnight tryst with sexy single mom Brittanty Musick, 27.

In Twitter messages and texts obtained by RadarOnline.com from a friend of Musick, the MTV reality star calls the blond beauty “sexy” and says he’s no longer married to the 22-year-old mother of three.

Meanwhile, Messer is keeping up the façade of a happy family.

“Jeremy and I are still married!” she tweeted a fan on November 30.

The reality is much more complicated.

“The truth is it’s a really f*cked up situation,” the insider says. “They don’t even live together anymore.”

Indeed, Calvert has been living out of an RV while traveling around Ohio for work while Messer has been home with their daughter Adalynn, 22 months, and her 4-year-old twins with ex Corey Simms, Ali and Aleeah.

Despite the mounting pressure from family, “divorce isn’t off the table,” the source adds. “If anything, it’s just been postponed.”
