Coachella is still months away, but celebrities and star-gazers alike will be heading to Palm Springs this weekend for the first annual Celebrity Wellness Weekend. Hosted by fitness expert Craig Ramsay and celebrity beauty guru Brandon Liberati of Fit & Phab, the event will also play host to former Real Housewives of Orange County star Jeana Keough, Broadway fave Cheyenne Jackson, and other surprise guests at the Riviera Palm Springs hotel. Ahead of the big weekend, Liberati and Ramsay opened up to RadarOnline.com about the hottest trends in Hollywood — and why you don’t have to hit the gym to get a body like a star.

Celebrity hair and makeup styling is “the only career I’ve ever had!” Liberati explains. “Being the oldest of two sisters and a single mother who was very particular about our looks, I learned early on how to style hair.” Since then, he’s worked with a host of Grammy winners, models, Oscar nominees and reality stars, including Giada DeLaurentiis, Work Out star Jackie Warner, and Keough, just to name a few.

And according to Liberati, less is more when it comes to hair. A “choppy lob long bob of real hair, not extensions,” like Beyonce and Jennifer Lawrence have rocked in recent weeks, is the hottest trend right now, whether with curls, waves, or middle and deep side parts.

His Fit & Phab blogging partner and wellness weekend Ramsay says less is more at the gym too. “For the celebrity client or anyone for that matter who offers the excuse ‘I can’t get to the gym,’ or ‘I don’t have time to work out,’ a twenty-minute at-home exercise program that utilizes their own body weight as resistance and focuses on high-rep cardiovascular movements is the key to progressing forward with your health and achieving physique goals.”

But no matter the exercise, Ramsay, a former Broadway star says, “The best workout for the average person is the activity that they enjoy doing that challenges them to be more athletic. That’s different for each person!"

For both, cultivating beauty starts inside, however, with meditation. A solid practice “is essential for my daily wellbeing,” Liberati says. “I set my alarm early to fit it into my busy day.”

And even if you’re not a pro like celeb meditators Katy Perry and Bill Clinton, Ramsay says it’s worht a try. “Meditation usually turns into a nap for me because it’s so peaceful and calming to slow down my thoughts,” he reveals. But even with a few Zs mixed in, he says, “Mediation helps me focus and find clarity in my intentions."

For more celeb-approved tips from the duo, check out their blog, Fit & Phab. “Fit and Phab is more than fitness and more than beauty,” Ramsay explains. “It is an all-around lifestyle improvement program that not only improves our clients’ self-esteem and physique, but also their confidence in their daily life, which helps nearly all aspects of their personal and professional life and relationships. Empowering people is my passion."
