Boyfriend Of Patrick Swayze's Widow Has Family Secret

Albert DePrisco, the jeweler boyfriend of Patrick Swayze's widow Lisa Niemi, is concerned his brother's past drug conviction could send his high-profile love "running the other way," according to a source.
“He’s crazy about her and doesn’t want to reveal anything that might scare her away,” a family source told the National Enquirer of Lisa's 57-year-old suitor in her first public romance since the beloved Dirty Dancing star's death from pancreatic cancer at 57 more than three years ago.
Albert's brother Frank was arrested in February 2003 on charges of crack, cocaine and marijuana possession in Deerfield Beach, Florida, less than two miles from Albert's Boca Raton penthouse.

According to reports from the Broward County Sheriff’s Department, Frank was taken into custody after police observed him sitting in his Cadillac sedan parked the wrong way near a well-known drug den. When questioned by authorities, Frank said he was there to buy a pool cue, but a subsequent search of his vehicle revealed a bag of marijuana “in between the center console and the driver’s seat," and "small rocks of crack cocaine” in the car's center console.

After pleading no contest to charges of third-degree felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor marijuana possession, Frank received a total of 27 months on probation.
A source said Albert's "worried if Lisa finds out about his brother’s drug arrest, it will reflect badly on him and his family."
The 56-year-old Niemi, who authored the book Worth Fighting For: Love, Loss and Moving Forward, was married to the Point Break star for 34 years.
