20-year-old Jenelle surrendered to the sheriff for a warrant filed against her in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
“She was arrested and posted a $1,000 unsecured bail,” her attorney Dustin Sullivan told RadarOnline.com. He slammed the charges filed by her ex-boss, James Duffy, the man entangled in the legal battle with Evans.
“He’s just retaliating against Jenelle,” Sullivan said. “The charges have no merit. This is just absurd.”
He said that he doesn’t think this recent arrest will harm Evans, who is still on probation from her arrest in 2011.
“I’m not concerned with the affection on her probation.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Duffy filed his complaint accusing Jenelle of cyber stalking him.
“If you read the complaint, I believe everything in there leads to harassment and stalking, even when she sends others to do it,” he said.
The court date for both charges has been set for March 23, 2012.
