The battle over Prince's $300 million estate just keeps on getting messier! RadarOnline.com has learned that the mother of his alleged grandniece has come forward to help her battle for a chunk of the late musician's multimillion dollar estate.

The minor, who remains unnamed, was bought into the intense legal battle after Wisconsin lawyer Michael B. Padden wrote an official letter to the Minnesota judge presiding over the case.

Padden claimed the girl should be involved in the court proceedings splitting up Prince's $300 million estate. At the time of the filing, he suggested that the court should appoint her a guardian, since efforts to contact the child's mother were unsuccessful.

However, the mother, Jeannine Halloran, came forward on Wednesday and filed the court-mandated "Affidavit of Heirship" and her daughter's birth certificates as evidence.

"My name is Jeannine Halloran. I am over twenty—one (21) years of age and am making this Affidavit based upon my own personal knowledge," she wrote in the new filing. "I am the mother and guardian of V.N., a minor. V.N. was born on November 27, 2004. V.N. is the grandniece and heir of Prince Rogers Nelson."

The unnamed child's grandfather, Duane Joseph Nelson Sr., is Prince's half-brother, her supporters claim. Senior tragically died in 2011. His son and the unnamed minor's alleged father, Duane Joseph Nelson Jr., also died suddenly in 2005.

"Senior grew up together with Prince. Senior eventually became head of security for Prince through employer, Paisley Park, but he subsequently was terminated in the mid-90's and became estranged from Prince," Padden previously argued in court filings.

Also on Wednesday, Nelson Sr.'s daughter filed paperwork against the estate.

In the court documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, Brianna Nelson claims that she is Prince's niece and is therefore also entitled to some of the late singer's fortune too!
