The reboot of 90s hit sitcom Roseanne has been a huge success for ABC and for the actors who've returned to reprise their iconic roles.
But RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that for Sara Gilbert, 43, the show's success is bittersweet!
Gilbert plays Roseanne Barr's daughter Darlene and serves as the show's executive producer, but she is also a longtime producer and host of CBS's The Talk.
"The Roseanne gig is absolutely affecting Sara's hosting and producer duties on The Talk and it may come down to her having to choose between the two, which she does not want to have to do," a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"Sara is so passionate about Roseanne and everyone at The Talk is incredibly supportive of this because they all know how much this project means to her," noted the source. "Plus, she's been such a huge asset to The Talk and everyone absolutely loves her."
However, aside from her multiple roles on television, Gilbert also has a very important third job — mother to three children with her Four Non-Blondes singer wife, Linda Perry!
"No one wants Sara to wear herself thin because they also know how important her family is to her," the source said, adding, "So as of right now, the execs at both CBS and ABC agree that they are just going to make it work."
Do you think that Roseanne would be the same without Sara? Sound off in the comments below.
