Roseanne Barr famously struggled with the battle of the bulge, reportedly tipping the scales at over 300 pounds at her heaviest. Click through RadarOnline.com's gallery to find out how she used surgery to shed the pounds and still relies on a special diet and intense exercise to stay in shape!
Barr, 65, was so concerned about her ballooning body that in 1998 she underwent gastric bypass surgery in 1998.
While Barr shed the pounds after the procedure, her weight continued to yo-yo through the years.
However, Barr vowed to finally begin her journey to getting slim and fit once and for all in 2011.
According to an insider, 5' 4" Barr became an "exercise fanatic," religiously walking thousands of steps a day, among other physical activities. The comedian also began eating smaller and almost total vegetarian meals.
Today, Barr's weigh loss is evident in her sharper jawline and happier demeanor.
"Her heavy days are behind her," said the source.
