R. Kelly Impregnated 15-Year-Old Aaliyah, Star's Ex-Manager Claims

R. Kelly’s former tour manager and personal assistant, Demetrius Smith is coming clean about the shamed rapper’s dirty past. In a recent interview, the man admitted that he forged documents to change the age of the star’s bride, Aaliyah, after he impregnated her at age 15!
“R. Kelly said: ‘Man, we got Aaliyah in trouble,’” Demetrius stated during a talk for Surviving R. Kelly. “He mentioned to me that: ‘I think she’s pregnant.’”
As RadarOnline.com reported in 2016, R. Kelly secretly constructed a “heavily guarded” room where he allegedly lured underage girls to perform humiliating sex acts. Despite the many claims he kidnapped, assaulted and brainwashed the girls, the star denied any wrongdoing.
“That broke my heart – I was so disappointed in him,” Demetrius said about R. Kelly impregnating his young girlfriend. “I really believed him when he said he wasn’t messing with Aaliyah because I questioned him. I was lost for words.”
Aaliyah and the sleazy rapper previously denied rumors of the two tying-the-knot when she was just a teenager, despite the marriage certificate surfacing.
Demetrius noted that he was there when the disgraced rapper and former superstar got married in a small room, wearing casual clothes. In fact, he admitted he even forged documents claiming Aaliyah was 18 years and able to be legally married!
“I’m not proud of that – I had papers forged for them because Aaliyah was underage. We got the marriage license and we were in a hotel in Maywood, Illinois,” said Demetrius.
RadarOnline.com readers know that R. Kelly reportedly held six women against their will in an abusive “cult” throughout Chicago and Atlanta.
Demetrius said he regrets doing the rapper’s dirty work. “Aaliyah looked worried, scared,” he recalled. “Worried and scared. I wanted so much to grab Aaliyah and talk to her. I wanted to much to talk to her because she gave me a look like she wanted me to talk to her.”
“I feel like I failed them, both of them,” Demetrius continued. “I knew that it had changed the course of everything.”
The second part of Surviving R. Kelly airs Friday at 9:00 p.m. eastern on Lifetime
