Meghan Markle’s Drunk Dad Tossed Aside His Other Kids After Famous Daughter's Birth

Meghan Markle’s estranged father was a drunk who would disappear for days while cheating on her mom. But in a bombshell interview, Thomas Markle, Jr. exclusively told RadarOnline.com that all changed after Meghan was born – at the expense of him and his sister Samantha!

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Thomas Markle, Sr. was a Hollywood lighting director who lived a scandalous lifestyle before Meghan arrived.

“My dad would stay out and not come home for a couple of days. He’d come home a little wasted when he did drink back then,” Thomas Jr. told RadarOnline.com. “My mom told me that he knew she was cheating on her, so that’s why they got divorced.”

Thomas Jr. says his relationship with his father has always been “frustrating” and described it as “non-existent” with few happy memories.

“Growing up with my father was always really distant. He didn’t have much time at all for me and my sister Samantha,” Thomas Jr. said, adding that it was completely different for the future royal.

“Meghan changed my dad’s life,” he continued. “My dad basically was changed after Meghan was born, and he devoted every spare second to her. My sister and I never had that kind of relationship with our father growing up, at all.”

As RadarOnline.com has reported, according to Thomas Jr., his father made overseas sex trips in the early ’80s while married to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

When he was home, Thomas Sr. didn’t bother to hide his drinking and drugging, according to his son.

“When Meghan was a baby, he’d be upstairs in the bedroom, and I’d see lines of cocaine on the mirror,” Thomas Jr. said. “I’d see him do it.”

Thomas Sr., who lives in rundown Rosarito, Mexico, vehemently denies the claims, and insists he doesn’t drink and his drug use is behind him. But he remains ostracized by Meghan and the entire royal family.
