Jon Gosselin is not here for ex-wife Kate Gosselin’s new dating show.
When asked about Kate Plus Date during a talk on HLN TV, the former reality star — who now boasts about having a “normal job” — said: "To each their own. Whatever keeps the lights on.”
Throwing even more shade at his ex, Jon, 42, said “I kinda stay out of the limelight as much as possible. But, you know, if she chooses to do that, she chooses to do it.”
He said two of their kids (Hannah and Collin) live with him and will not be participating in the series, and as far as he’s concerned, Joel, Alexis, Leah, and Aaden won’t be either.
"But I know, obviously, Mady and Cara are on the show," he said, speaking of his teen daughters who appeared on a Kate Plus Date promo clip.
RadarOnlne.com readers know Jon and Kate, 44, who share eight kids together, have been wrapped up in nasty custody battles and legal wars for years since their brutal divorce.
Most recently, an insider told RadarOnline.com Kate hasn’t reached out to troubled son Collin, 15, since he was released from his treatment center and sent to live with Jon and Hannah, 15.
“Collin doesn’t want to see her,” the source said.
At the same time, the six kids living with her have little contact with their father. Earlier this month, Jon celebrated the sextuplets’ 15th birthday with just Hannah and Collin.
Jon and Kate were married for 10 years and called it quits in 2009. Kate then continued to participate in her show, Kate Plus 8, with her kids, but Jon bowed out.
