Jen & Justin Reunite — To Find Killer Who Murdered Woman During Their Honeymoon!

Jennifer Aniston and ex Justin Theroux have been dragged into a “murder” mystery involving a guest on their ill-fated honeymoon!

In a world exclusive, RadarOnline.com has learned the parents of Carmel Musgrove — who died during the former couple’s fairy-tale getaway in the Polynesian paradise Bora Bora — want to question Jen and Justin about their daughter’s final hours.

The Musgroves have filed a wrongful death suit against Jen and Justin’s friend, chef Martin Herold, accusing him of plying Carmel with booze and drugs on the August 2015 trip.

But Herold has gone missing, making Jen and Justin’s involvement in the case all the more critical, insiders said.

“Martin Herold doesn’t answer his cell phone, and his home number has been disconnected,” said a source close to Carmel’s grieving parents, Ann and Ronnie.

“There is no answer at his Los Angeles address, and there’s talk he fled to France.

“Carmel’s parents believe Jen and Justin hold the key to Herold’s whereabouts, but their split has made it impossible to get them to cooperate.

“It seems Jen and Justin really want to distance themselves from the lawsuit.”

Carmel, 28, was an assistant to Hollywood heavyweight Joel Silver, a renowned producer and Carmel’s employer. Jen and Silver, who’s named as a co-defendant in the suit, are close pals.

An autopsy found Carmel died from a combination of drowning and effects of drugs and alcohol in her system.

But her parents think she was “murdered because she knew too much” about the inner workings of Hollywood’s elite, said an insider to RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“The family truly believes Carmel died because of what she knew,” said the source.

According to documents filed in August 2017 with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Carmel allegedly drank and did drugs with Herold at his bungalow on Aug. 18, 2015, after he purchased a gram of cocaine while in Bora Bora.

She is said to have taken a shower in Herold’s room before returning to her own bungalow around 11 p.m., and allegedly emailed him a message that simply read, “Xxx.”

Her nude body was found at 2 a.m. on Aug. 20 — about 400 yards from her bungalow.

But the Musgroves said Carmel was a strong swimmer and surfer who didn’t use drugs and rarely drank alcohol.

The Musgroves, who live in San Diego, had her body flown to the U.S. for a second autopsy, and asked famed forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden to assist.

They’ve also hired attorney Brian E. Watkins to help them get to the truth.

“The Musgroves are not giving up. They’re willing to do whatever it takes to help build their case,” the source added.

“Not a day goes by when they don’t think of their daughter. They want justice.”
