Heather Locklear Hospitalized For Psychiatric Evaluation After Threatening To Shoot Herself
Troubled Melrose Place actress Heather Locklear was just hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after threatening to shoot herself, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
Captain Garo Kuredjian with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told RadarOnline.com that deputies and Ventura County Fire officials responded to a medical call from her Thousand Oaks home.
“The patient required transport to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment,” Kuredjian said. “There was no criminal activity involved."
The call reportedly came from Locklear’s mother, who claimed she was acting erratic and looking for a gun to kill herself.
“Heather is still at the hospital and is still being held under a 5150,” a separate law enforcement source confirmed.
“She was determined to be a threat to herself and others. Even though she wasn’t placed under arrest, Heather was handcuffed while on the gurney being transported to the hospital. This is routinely done to maintain the safety of the individual on the 5150.”

Locklear’s recent outburst comes months after the actress, 56, threatened to shoot police officers if they ever returned to her home following her and her fiancé’s domestic dispute in February.
Following the violent feud, the star was the arrested for battery and gun possession and banned from owning firearms.
Locklear eventually came clean about her demons and was sent to rehab for substance abuse. She extended her stay, and checked out this May.
After her release, Locklear shared an Instagram photo of her lying in bed with her beloved fiancé, Chris Heisser. Now, one month later, she is back in the hospital.
