She's Back! Heather Locklear Looked 'Happy' With Fiance On First Outing After Rehab

Heather Locklear is back home after two months in rehab, and she's back to business as usual — but she's sticking to her sobriety, a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

The troubled actress dined at Los Agaves in Westlake Village, California, on the afternoon of May 5 with her fiance Chris Heisser, and was spotted drinking a non-alcoholic beverage.

“She seemed really happy, and neither one of them was drinking,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. "A few people noticed her at lunch, but it didn't bother her."

According to another source, the couple appears to be in a much better place than just a few months prior.

“They are going out more as a couple, and she seems more comfortable with herself,” said the source. “They used to hole themselves up in the house, so this could be a great new start for them.”

A third source said the pair hit the movies on Friday night in Los Angeles.

The public appearances come one week after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the 56-year-old checked out of inpatient rehab following her arrest for allegedly beating Heisser and police officers in February.

Though she’s now in recovery, the former Melrose Place beauty is still facing the consequences of her alleged bad behavior, and has a serious legal battle ahead of her.

She was taken into custody Feb. 25 after the Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic violence call involving Locklear and Heisser at the actress’s Thousand Oaks, Calif. home.

According to a search warrant, deputies who responded to the emergency call found the couple arguing inside a bedroom. Heisser reportedly told deputies that Locklear bit him on the nose, and that the actress was “all over him” for about 30 minutes, acting “crazy,” “angry,” and “wild.”

Locklear did not appear in court for her arraignment on April 12 due to her rehab stay. But her attorneys, William Haney and Blair Berk, entered a not guilty plea to four misdemeanor counts of battery on a peace officer and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.

Richie Sambora’s ex-wife is scheduled to appear back in court on June 7 for a pretrial conference.

She could face a maximum sentence of five years in jail, according to Ventura County Senior Deputy District Attorney Thomas Dunlevy.
