What Arrest? Wendy Smiles In Chicago After Son's Brawl With Ex

Troubled talk show host Wendy Williams was all smiles as she hawked some new sugary treats at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago Wednesday May 23. In fact, her 18-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr. was with her.
As RadarOnline.com reported, a day earlier, Kevin Jr. apparently attacked his father allegedly over demands Wendy pay him child support, permanent alimony and pony up for his legal fees in their divorce.
RadarOnline.com readers know their marriage quickly crumbled after it was revealed Kevin Hunter, Sr. fathered a love child with his mistress, Sharina Hudson.
Wendy filed for divorce in April. Kevin Sr. is no longer executive producer of her talk show, and the couple no longer share their charity together.

On Tuesday, Kevin Hunter, Jr. was arrested for simple assault after a physical altercation with his father near the family’s home in New Jersey.

The fight started as an argument over demands for spousal support, but turned physical when Kevin Sr. put his son into a headlock.

In an effort to break the hold, Kevin Jr. punched his father in the nose.

Kevin Hunter, Sr. has been persona non grata since the revelation of his love child.
Divorce
Wendy filed for divorce on Wednesday, April 10.
Name Erased
Days later, his name was scrapped from her talk show, which he helped develop and was an executive producer.
No Action
In a statement, Kevin Sr. said that he will not be taking legal action against his son.

“I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally,” he said. “Things are not always how they appear.”
