The talk show host elaborated during her March 19, 2019 live, on-air confession, "When you see me come to work, glammed up, right after the show I go across the street, I do my Pilates. I told you, two hours a day or like to take care of my body. And you know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past. I never went to a place to get the treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped."
Williams admitted to fans that she’s living apart from her husband, Kevin Hunter, and sleeping in a sober house with other recovering addicts. As she continues treatment, she has a coach available to her all day every day. "Only Kevin and Kevin have known about this. Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew. Because I look so glamorous out here," she said on her TV show. "I go to my room, and I stare at the ceiling and I fall asleep to wake up and come back here to see you. So that is my truth," she told her audience about the place. "I was a mess…killing myself. I realized I am a walking addict. You can’t just clean it up and stop it. I wasted a lot of my life burning my insides. You never know when it can pop up. I constantly have to watch the inside of my body because of hard partying, just a mess." She then launched a substance abuse hotline.
Williams' downward spiral continued from there after she was reportedly rushed to the hospital Monday, March 25 after relapsing on alcohol! She was rushed to the ER after her team found her intoxicated, according to DailyMail.com.
Struggling Big Time
The alleged relapse came after her husband Kevin Hunter’s suspected mistress gave birth to their love child. The alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, reportedly gave birth to a daughter last week.
“She was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show Monday,” a source told the website. “She went back to the sober house only to check herself out and decided to start drinking.”
The insider continued to claim, “It’s not clear where she went but she headed in the direction of her home in Jersey and managed to find alcohol along the way. Word got back to the studio and there was panic and concern, everyone was looking for her, no one knew whether there would be a show today. She was eventually found and was drunk, she was immediately taken to the hospital.”
Williams has battled Grave's disease, an autoimmune disorder that causes overstimulation of the thyroid.
When Williams returned to her show after a three-month hiatus on March 4, 2019, she blamed her absence on Grave's disease. “So what had happened was we were only supposed to be off two weeks for Christmas vacation,” Williams revealed. "And towards the end of the two weeks, I started to feel thyroid issues." But later in March, she 'fessed up that she's also been living in a sober house.
Shouldering A Burden
Williams announced in late December 2018 that she had fractured her shoulder.
"I have a hair fracture on my right shoulder. I did it on Sunday— by Monday morning my shoulder was on fire," Williams declared on her show in December 2018, while wearing a sling under her pink sweater.

As Radar reported, Williams and her husband Hunter were involved in an explosive sexual harassment lawsuit. Court papers said Nicole Spence sued Inner City Broadcast Corporation, Williams and her husband Kevin Hunter on June 11, 2008 for "unlawful employment practices and discriminatory treatment, harassment and unlawful retaliation against Plaintiff." Williams and Hunter denied her claims. The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it can’t be re-filed, on October 22, 2008.
The star fainted on her live TV talk show in October 2017. She said menopause was to blame for the scary incident in which she overheated in her Halloween costume.
Mitchell Rose, Williams' former drug dealing ex-boyfriend, exclusively told Radar that she dumped him in the mid-1990s after meeting Kevin Hunter, who later became her husband.
