Zac Efron’s bod might be considered one of the reasons summer is so darn hot. The hunky former High School Musical heartthrob has the kind of body men want for themselves and that women want to gaze upon.

Efron’s image as sexy young superstar has suffered a couple of dings along the way like alleged nude photos, but were any actually real? Did Efron really strip for the camera? Has he ever been nude in a movie? And just who has seen him naked — apart from his ex-girlfriends?

Zac Efron showed off his bottom in the movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile where he played serial killer Ted Bundy.

Efron’s comedy with Robert DeNiro — Dirty Grandpa — dished up scenes of his bare chest, legs and a tiny bit of … his bits. Yup, Efron covered them about 95% or so. You can see pictures of Efron from that movie here.

But it turns out some of Efron’s naked scenes in the film were not actually him. Efron had a butt double. The butt man was used in scenes like riding a motorcycle in flesh-tone briefs.

In 2013, according to the The Huffington Post, Efron was recovering from a stint in rehab for an alleged cocaine problem. He was still trying to rid himself of his innocent Disney image, so he took a role in the movie That Awkward Moment. It did the trick as he bared quite a lot in a scene where he had to plank a toilet and even won an award for it.

Comic Adam DeVine, who costarred with Efron in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, snuck a peak on set and reported that, “It’s a very handsome d--k. It’s just as veiny as his arms.” Check out pictures of Efron on the set.

Seth Rogen can also claim to have seen Efron’s privates. Rogen told E! Online that "I've seen like the root of it but not the rest. The base, just the base." He also told Us Weekly that Efron is “…the sexiest motherf--ker on the planet.” They costarred in the hit comedy Neighbors, and you can see pictures of Efron here.

But not every nude image of Efron is real. In 2011, MTV reported that a naked photo of him that was shared on Twitter was in fact fake. A few celebrities came forward to deny it was him including Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Blake Lively. RadarOnline.com has many real images of Efron through the years.

Madame Tussaud’s made a wax facsimile of Efron which he confronted. According to Yahoo!, when he saw how big his wax double’s abs were, he said, “Holy sh*t! Whoever did this, I’m very impressed and scared."
