Kaitlynn Who? Miley Cyrus Rocks Out At Music Fest After Split From Carter

Miley Cyrus took to the stage just as news broke that she'd split up with her girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter.
The “Slide Away” singer went to Las Vegas on Saturday, September 21, to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Wearing a wild bondage-style costume, Cyrus worked hard, giving her fans a fierce performance.
While her mom Tish and sister Brandi cheered her on in Vegas, Carter was conspicuously missing.
And as Us Weekly confirmed, Cyrus, 26, and Carter, 31, had broken up.
Cyrus gyrated onstage while via Instagram, Carter showed her followers that she was staying at home in L.A. and relaxing on her couch!
A source also told PEOPLE, “Miley and Kaitlynn broke up. They’re still friends.”
“They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated but they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore,” the insider added.
Cyrus' same sex fling stunned followers of Cyrus and her actor husband Liam Hemsworth.
Their tumultuous marriage officially ended with Hemsworth filing for divorce in August . They had been married for just eight months.
Then Cyrus flaunted her blonde The Hills: New Beginnings star galpal, as they made out while on vacation in Italy, lunched with her mom Tish, looked close on a date to the VMAs, and shopped in Studio City just days before the split.
If body language was any indication, the "We Can't Stop" singer seemed happy with Carter after her marriage flopped.
RadarOnline.com had confirmed Cyrus and Hemsworth's breakup on August 10, and a source exclusively said, she “was the one to end it. She said she wanted an open relationship. She wasn’t ready for just one person forever.”
The source also explained that the actor, 29, wanted kids right away, while wild child Cyrus simply didn't want to be a mom.
“He wanted babies, and she just didn’t anymore,” the source said.
The sexually fluid Cyrus moved on with Carter and had a very public pow wow with Tish, who gave the couple her blessing.
For her part, Carter was in a high-profile previous relationship with reality TV's Brody Jenner.
However, they said their goodbyes in August. Although Carter and Jenner has taken part in an overseas "wedding" ceremony, it was later discovered that they were never legally married.
Cyrus appears to have shaken off her latest breakup by rocking the night away.
