Katie Holmes Top 10 Secrets & Scandals Exposed!

Katie Holmes has weathered a host of ups and downs in recent years. And as the actress turns 40 on December 18, RadarOnline.com takes a look at some of her biggest secrets and scandals.
Holmes shocked the world when she started dating and then married an ecstatic Tom Cruise.
The couple's whirlwind romance raised eyebrows, but not as much as Holmes' sudden devotion to Scientology at the direction of her new husband.
After years together, Holmes dropped the bombshell that she had finally decided to leave Cruise — and the Church of Scientology — in 2012.
The following year, Cruise admitted Scientology played a role in his divorce from Holmes, telling the court that his ex had made an "assertion" that she wanted to protect their daughter, Suri, from the religion.
Holmes has done her best to raise Suri as a single mom — but to the actress' horror, her daughter's becoming her ex-husband's clone! According to a source, the 12-year-old girl is "turning into a mini version" of Cruise. "It's not just her features – Suri's personality is becoming more like Tom's every day."
In September 2017, Holmes finally went public with the poorly kept secret that she and actor Jamie Foxx were an item. The couple took a romantic seaside stroll on a Malibu beach to showcase their love.
Holmes long denied she and Foxx were together, but she was recently spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring while shooting a new movie in New Orleans.
And an insider told RadarOnline.com Holmes and Foxx are "ready to make it official" and get hitched in a very romantic location next year. "Paris is the city where they decided to go public with their romance after years of sneaking around," a source claimed to RadarOnline.com. "Jamie's been a handful ever since they started secretly dating in 2013 — but Katie's convinced him to settle down."
Despite moving on, Holmes likely continues to not be able to discuss her true feelings on Scientology. "She probably signed some nondisclosure agreement saying she wouldn't say anything bad about Scientology," explained Tony Ortega, an expert on the religion, who claimed the actress "wanted to get away."
Perhaps the most shocking thing Holmes' has done in years is so completely transforming from Cruise's blindly devoted wife to an independent mom taking charge of her career and personal life on her own terms.
