Any celebrity knows that along with fame and fortune comes feuds and fights! This year, some of the spats have been surprising (Jay Z and Solange Knowles), some have been amusing (Donald Trump and Russell Brand) and some have been cryptic (Katy Perry and Taylor Swift) — but they’ve always been entertaining! Take a look back here.
Beyonce and Jay-Z Party with Solange at Met Gala After Party
If the North Korean hacking attack on Sony taught the world to watch what we write in emails, the fisticuffs between Solange Knowles and Jay Z in a New York elevator served as a reminder that security cameras capture everything. So that moment when Solange kicked and bashed her brother-in-law in May while Beyoncé quietly watched from the sidelines was recorded and ultimately leaked for all to see.
Orlando Bloom attends the Los Angeles Premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’
It seems that 2014 was the year for celebrities to put their dukes up. In July it was Orlando Bloom’s turn to open a can of (you know the rest) on Justin Bieber in an Ibiza restaurant. A couple of witnesses recorded the action on their cellphones. Rumor has it that Bloom and Bieber were fighting over the actor’s estranged wife, model Miranda Kerr.
Taylor Swift is out and about in NYC
The feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift was an undercover one that neither woman openly admitted to. Swift fired the first shot by revealing in a Rolling Stones interview that she had fallen out with an unnamed major female artist, saying, “We’re straight-up enemies.” Within days Perry posted a tantalizing tweet on her Twitter page, referencing Mean Girls, saying, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…” Fans and critics alike tagged the two former friends as the warring frenemies.

In October Snoop Dogg apologized for starting a feud with Iggy Azalea that saw the rappers trading insults on social media. Dogg kicked the fight off by posting a photo on Instagram of an albino black woman with the caption, “Iggy Azalea No Make Up.” The war of words hit a low point when the “Gin & Juice” rapper called the Australian a “c**t.” He later apologized when fellow rapper T.I. stepped in.
TV personality and author, Martha Stewart arrives 8th Annual Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion in honor of Carolina Herrera at Lincoln Center on September 3, 2014 in New York City
Who would have thought that Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow would get into a spat? Apparently the lifestyle guru does not like Paltrow invading her territory with her Goop brand. Stewart icily said of the actress, “If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”
‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ Season 14 Press Conference
Donald Trump has never been known to edit his opinions on Twitter. In October the hotel mogul tweeted that Katy Perry “must have been drunk when she married” Russell Brand whom he said was a “major loser.” Brand responded with a nasty tweet of his own.
27th Annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards
“Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked.” When T-Boz from TLC made those remarks on an Australian breakfast TV show in July it was thought she was referring to Rihanna who recently appeared on the red carpet in a completely see-through dress. T-Boz backtracked though when the “Pour It Up” singer posted a photo on her Twitter page of TLC, back in the ‘90s, topless and wearing little more than a smile.
IHeartRadio Music Festival—Day 1
Chris Brown is never one to keep quiet when he thinks he has been insulted. So when Tamar Braxton – a co-host on The Real – suggested they “pull an inter-friend-tion” on his on-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran, he fired back with an insult-laden response on Instagram. He took aim at Braxton and her fellow co-host, Adrienne Bailon, whom he called a “trout mouth a* b*tch.”

Actor Charlie Sheen makes an appearance on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ in NYC
Don’t mess with the warlock! Charlie Sheen lost his cool when Rihanna refused to come over to his table so his girlfriend could meet the singer in a Los Angeles restaurant where they were both dining. A source claimed the sock entrepreneur left, reportedly dubbing the event as “superficial bulls**t.,” But Kim later denied that rumor saying there was “no fight.”
Songs of Hope X
Having spent 2013 feuding with the likes of Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks has spent 2014 maintaining her spat with Iggy Azalea. While the chart-topper called Banks a “MISERABLE, angry human being” with a “piss poor attitude,” the New York rapper criticized the Grammys for nominating white rap artists like Macklemore and Azalea. She told Hot 97, “It says to black kids: ‘You don't have s**t. You don't own s**t, not even the s**t you created for yourself’.”

Frankel said that their relationship collapsed when she wrote Hoppy a letter telling him she wanted a divorce.
