Brad Pitt Attends Venice Film Festival Solo As Estranged Son Maddox Starts College

Brad Pitt is shining bright in Hollywood! This week, the hunk attended the Venice Film Festival solo, days after his ex-wife Angelina Jolie dropped off their eldest son, Maddox Jolie-Pitt in college.
This Thursday, August 28, at the Ad Astra photo call, the actor, 55, posed with co-stars Liv Tyler and Ruth Negga, and director James Gray. He looked casual in an all-black outfit and grey beret while on the red carpet.
Brad’s European getaway comes after a summer of glamorous outings. The father of six has been all over the carpet since May, promoting his new film, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
His ex, meanwhile, has been spending time at home with their kids, and recently became emotional when leaving her golden child, Maddox, 18, at his new dorm at Yonsei University in South Korea.
The teen — who remains estranged from dad Brad — was welcomed like a celebrity by his new classmates, and was caught on camera chatting with his new group of friends.
RadarOnline.com readers know Brad and Maddox have had a complicated relationship ever since they got into an allegedly heated fight while aboard a private plane in 2016. The brawl reportedly caused Angelina, 44, to file for divorce from Brad, and to fight tooth and nail for custody of their six kids.
Luckily, the actors seemed to have resolved their nasty custody issues, but now that Maddox is beginning his college career, Angelina fears her other kids — who are now much closer to their famous dad — will leave her in an empty nest.
Family Drama
“It won’t be long before Pax follows Maddox into college, then Zahara will be gone, and Shiloh is highly likely to move in with Brad full-time at some point,” an insider told Radar. “That’ll leave her alone with the twins, who are also spending more and more time with Brad.”
Divorce Disaster
“There’s nothing she can do about this, and it’s left her crippled with anxiety!” added the source.
Broken Relationship
And while Brad now gets to see his kids much more often, he has yet to repair his relationship with Maddox. Earlier this month, the Maleficent actress was pictured celebrating her eldest son’s 18th birthday in Ohio — and Brad was nowhere to be seen.
He’s Ok!
Despite his family drama, Brad has been thriving since his split from Angelina.

The actor has been linked to a series of beauties including design professor Neri Oxman, and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
